BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | Resolution 07-21-02 was approved on 7-13-21 to allow for $27,375 in utility funds to extend a city water line that would serve a new development. Bids were received on 2-10-22, and the lowest bid was $45,259 from RFW Construction, LLC. This increase is due to rising resin costs (PVC piping), supply chain issues, and higher labor costs. Requesting an additional $17,884 be committed to the project for a total cost of $45,259. |

IMPACT IF APPROVED: | The subdivision can move forward past the site work phase and provide attainable housing (36 single family) for workforce, single parents, and or seniors. This project helps with its economic development efforts to create more roofs for growth and achieve its Vision 2030 Plan goals. |
