Approval to apply for historic preservation grant funds as administered by the State Historic Preservation Office for the purpose of a cultural resources survey.

As the City continues to experience unprecedented growth and revitalization in both its downtown and low-to-moderate income neighborhoods, we recognize the importance of cultural and historical awareness in our continued development. To this end, through the support of vetted industry professionals, we seek to conduct a field survey of qualifying historical properties within the City. Said survey will be completed by volunteers who undergo training through the selected contract firm to ensure consistency and accuracy in survey completion. This firm will then compile a comprehensive cultural resources report based on the data collected by the volunteers
