| ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION: | APPROVAL OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN SOUTH CAROLINA LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION (SLED) AND THE HARTSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE USE OF AN INTERJURISDICTIONAL CRIMINAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM (CrimeNtel).

| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | In order to participate in a computerized crime intelligence database, our agency must have an MOU with SLED's CrimeNtel department. |

| IMPACT IF DENIED: | | Inability to participate in the use of computerized investigative tools available to investigators, that could possibly help information sharing and solve crimes. |
