Ordinance Number: Resolution Number: 05-17-03 - SPECIAL MEETING | | | |
| | | | | | | |
ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION: | RESOLUTION: APPROVAL TO ALLOCATE MATCH DOLLARS FROM WATER AND SEWER RESERVE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF BLACK CREEK PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS. |
| | | |
| | | | | | | |
BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | Council approved application for this grant in fall 2016 with the condition that we would allocate funds if and when granted. We received the grant and now must allocated the required match funds from Water and Sewer Reserves. |
| | | |
| | | | | | | |
IMPACT IF DENIED: | We do not complete a project critical to the health of our sewer system, posing risk to nearby Black Creek and our residents. |
| | | |
| | | | | | | |
IMPACT IF APPROVED: | We proceed with the project. |
| | | |
| | | | | | | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT: | Leveraging $321,575 in grant funds with $456,225 local monies pulled from W&S Reserves. City staff and outside experts have deemed this a top priority because this pump station is so critical to the entire system. |
