ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION:
Resolution for approval of refurbishment of commercial garbage truck.
BACKGROUND SUMMARY:
The back up garbage truck is in terrible condition and we need a newer truck for commercial service. We have researched having our current truck refurbished from various vendors and determined Blue Sky Refurbsihing to be the best company for this project.
IMPACT IF DENIED:
Will continue to impact our commercial garbage route. There have been times where our sanitation team has had to dumpster dive to maintain service due to the status of our vehicles.
IMPACT IF APPROVED:
Will be able to provide uninterrupted commercial garbage service.
