| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | Currently, the city has a camera system but is it limited to only small diameter lines. We do not have the ability to look at our sewer mains and storm water systems. Attached are three quotes, Jet Vac was the lowest but the camera is the smallest software package is lacking. The quote from Adams is the same camera but Southern Vac's quote includes a maintenance attachment that lets our team repair lines 6" and above with out digging. |

| IMPACT IF DENIED: | | Will continue to have to contract out all video of large diameter pipes and storm water systems. Will also have to contract out repairs of pipes 6" and above. |

| IMPACT IF APPROVED: | | Not only will we be able to visually inspect our sewer and storm water systems, we will be able to make repairs to underground lines saving thousands over the life span of the camera. |
