| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | The Hartsville Planning Commission updated the last comprehensive plan (2020) into what is now Vision Hartsville 2030, as required by the SC Local Government Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act of 1994. Commissioners unanimously approved the plan and appendices and made a recommendation to city council to approve the plan at their October 26, 2020 planning commission meeting. The Planning Commission Resolution and draft minutes are attached along with the Vision 2030 plan and all appendices. The public hearing and final reading on the plan are slated to occur January 12, 2021. |
