| ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION: | To provide for the establishment of a fire line tap fee and for the amendment of the master fee schedule.

| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | Fire lines do not require meters and are always conducted by the contractor. The regular line tap fees are based on the price of the water meter and compensation for any labor and equipment. Since fire line taps only require Utility personnel to view the tap and to test the line, the price should indicate such. |
