| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | We had a mutual aid agreement with Sheriff Chavis. With the election of Sheriff Hudson, we need to sign a new agreement for it to be legal. |

| IMPACT IF DENIED: | | We count on County Deputies in emergencies to provide service to our citizens, and they count on us for same. If denied, public safety in Darlington County could be negatively effected during emergencies. |
