| BACKGROUND SUMMARY: | | Passed by Council via Ordinance 4455, for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, $400,000 is budgeted for splash pad renovations at the water park. The SCPRT Undiscovered SC grant program accepts grant applications for 50% reimbursement (up to $200,000) for projects that promote tourism. Approval is requested to apply for a $200,000 grant with SCPRT, which could potentially offer the City a cost-savings in the splash pad renovations. |
