ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION:
Approval of an addendum to the existing agreement with Alligator Rural Water and Sewer Company for wastewater treatment services.
BACKGROUND SUMMARY:
South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Protection (DHEC) notified the City
that in order to comply with Pretreatment Regulations the agreement must specify the City serves as the enforcement entity and grant the City the power to enforce the Pretreatment Regulations with respect to industrial users of Alligator Rural Water and Sewer Company. The City and Alligator Rural Water and Sewer wish to proceed with the addendum in order to continue services.
