ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION:

Approval for the City to enter into a collaborative agreement with the Darlington County Humane Society for animal shelter services in Hartsville.

BACKGROUND SUMMARY:

City Council previously allocated and authorized expenditure of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to the Darlington County Humane Society (DCHS) in support of the new animal shelter located in Hartsville and it's mission to promote the humane care of dogs and cats. An agreement with DCHS is required in order to proceed with reimbursement of costs to DCHS.
