ORDINANCE/RESOLUTION CAPTION:

Approval for the Hartsville Police Department (HPD) to enter into an agreement with Rubicon Family Counseling Services for Alcohol Enforcement Team (AET) services.

BACKGROUND SUMMARY:

Rubicon Family Counseling Services received Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant funds from the federal government. Rubicon wishes to partner with the HPD Alcohol Enforcement Team (AET) in connection with the enforcement of underage drinking laws, underage drinking education and prevention efforts to reduce the risk of developing alcohol, tobacco and other drug problems.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Rubicon will reimburse the HPD up to $600 for community events and AET trainings.
